Imagine Candy Serving a New Low Calorie Treat to Help You Stay Cool

The heat this week has been a little rough. It’s one thing to have it in the middle of July, but something about 95 degrees at the end of May is a little distressing. If the thought of a calorie-ridden ice cream to beat the heat simultaneously delights and depresses you, consider this new, healthier option: the popbar at Imagine Candy in Scarsdale.

Essentially, the popcicle grew up. This isn’t an ice cube of red drink on a stick. PopGelato and PopSorbetto are frozen treats that come in a wide variety of flavors ranging from the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, to blood orange, mango and gianduia, an Italian  chocolate with hazelnut.

Not interested for the guilt that comes with downing an ice cream sundae on your own? Looking for something lighter to offer the kids? Popbar.

Imagine Candy also hosts free chocolate tastings on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5., and on Saturday, June 8 they are teaming up with the Pediatric Cancer Foundations A Dollar Campaign with a family even featuring clowns, face painting, raffles and sweets. A portion of sales will be donated to A Dollar Campaign.
