Free Italian ice all day at the grand opening of Rita’s in Yorktown, June 20


rita's italian iceRita’s, the popular Italian ice franchise, is opening a new location in Yorktown and coming out with a bang.

From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 they will be giving away one free regular Italian ice to guests in a flavor of their choice. There are more than 65 flavors, all made fresh daily with real fruit, including Cherry, Alex’s Lemonade and Mango.

If one free treat isn’t enough, Rita’s is also awarding the first 50 guests free ice for an entire year. To qualify, customers must bring a new pet supply donation to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a nonprofit guide dog school headquartered in Yorktown Heights.

The new Rita’s is the second owned and operated by local residents Jeff Besselman and David Goldes.
