Former I Eat Plants Blogger Launches New Book: Vegan for Her

JL Fields is a passionate vegan, and we were fortunate to have her as a blogger here at Small Bites, sharing hervegan for her tips and tricks with other plant-eaters.

The Former I Eat Plants columnist is taking her veganism to new heights, with a book called Vegan for Her: The Woman’s Guide to Being Healthy & Fit on a Plant-Based Diet.

Fields joined forces with dietitian Virginia Messina to create a guide for vegan women in all stages of life. The book includes her recipes, techniques and other practical information.

JL Fields moved to Colorado in 2012, but is making a few upcoming local appearances to promote Vegan for Her. At 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 Fields will be at the Watercooler Hub on Tarrytown offering a presentation and cooking demonstration called Healthy Food Preparation for the Busy Non-Cook. Tickets are $25 and include a signed copy of Vegan for Her.

You can also find her at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 at Turquoise in Larchmont for an author meet and greet and book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
