In June Growler and Gill Craft Beer Shoppe in Nanuet threw the first Lower Hudson Valley’s Craft Beer Festival. The event was so successful, they are doing it again.

From 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 craft beer drinkers will gather in the outdoor area of Growler and Gill, rain or shine. For its second round, the Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival will feature more international breweries from Belgium, Germany, Canada and other countries as well as domestic and local microbreweries. More than 40 breweries are participating, including Captain Lawrence of Elmsford, Rockland’s Kuka Beer and Newburgh Brewing Company.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a delicious variety of beers, all while listening to live music and enjoying food provided by Northern Comfort Catering, including their famous pulled pork sandwiches. There will also be beer infused ice cream from Brewer’s Cow, made with some of the festival beers available for tasting.

There are two V.I.P. sessions offered (which sold out quickly the first time around) as well as designated driver tickets. Tickets are limited, so Growler and Gill recommends purchasing online ahead of time.
