The husband and wife team behind Grimm Artisanal Ales are what people in the craft beer business call “gypsy brewers,” meaning they don’t have a permanent brewing facility and craft their product where they can, on the equipment of other friendly craft brewers.
If you’re a beer lover, or just someone who thrives on anything hip and underground, it doesn’t get much hipper than gypsy brewers out of Brooklyn.
At 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 at The Craftsman Ale House in Harrison you’ll be able to meet the gypsy brewers from Grimm Artisanal Ales, and taste their first batch of From the Hip, a Belgian-style blonde ale made with rose hips. For the launch party The Craftsman Ale House will add From the Hip to their draft lines for the night.
