To kick off the new season of Boardwalk Empire we’re going to feature a weekly cocktail to enjoy while watching Nucky and the gang navigate the waters known as Prohibition. We’ll also feature the cocktail at Pour each week. Cheers, Anthony & James

Appropriately named after the term given to those who clandestinely sipped spirits throughout Prohibition, this cocktail, debuted in 1924 at Harry’s Bar in Paris. Here is the Scofflaw Cocktail recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon or Rye
  • 1 oz Dry vermouth
  • 1/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Grenadine
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
