Afternoon Tea. Caramoor Center for the Arts, 149 Girdle Ridge Rd., Katonah. A delicious afternoon tea, consisting of tea sandwiches, scones and mouth-watering desserts, elegantly presented in the Summer Dining Room. A taste of Autumn: Organic Culinary Food & Wine Tasting. Vintology teams up with Chef Jennifer Rossano to present an evening of delicious food, great wine & conversation about the evolving landscape of sustainability and organics. Enjoy an array of dishes with local and organic ingredients: beet and pear salad, truffle scented cauliflower soup, ratatouille, pork roast with maple glazed cabbage and apple compote, braised short ribs as well as a dessert and paired flights of organic wines. Tenth Annual Harvest Fest. To benefit Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. Samples of dishes from Blue Hill, Luke’s Lobsters, Melt Ice Cream Sandwiches, Murray’s Cheese, Stumptown Coffee and more. Hands-on food crafting stations for festival goers of all ages, square dance with a live band, musical performances, farm demonstrations and hay rides.
