Bareburger comes to Hartsdale

bareburger2Health-conscious burger lovers take heart!

Bareburger, the New York City-based organic burger chain, has arrived in Hartsdale, offering organic beef burgers, exotic meats and tasty vegan and vegetarian options.

The new Bareburger at 265 N. Central Ave., which held a grand opening Tuesday, is the chain’s first location in the Lower Hudson Valley and its 16th overall, following openings in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and New Jersey.  A national expansion is planned for 2014.

Amid a fast-growing crowd of burger joints in the region, Bareburger stands out for its use of organic, hormone- and pesticide-free ingredients — not to mention patties made of beef, wild boar, ostrich, elk and bison, plus a variety of gluten-free Bare Shakes made with organic ice cream, milk and fruits.
