Chef Anthony Goncavles and the crew at 42 in White Plains threw a special dinner last week they called Odyssey. A DJ played music with a Led Zeppelin “vibe, ” and halfway through the evening, a vocalist sang an unplugged version of ‘Stairway to Heavan,’ accompanied by two young musicians on violin. The menu had some new dishes, and some 42 (and Bellota) classics (duck fried rice, cemitas). Our table of six decided to share a lot of the menu. Here’s a look at the evening. Goncalves is taking requests for the next “vibe.”
