Memphis Mae’s BBQ Bistro and Abita Brewing present Mardi Gras Beer Dinner, March 3

Fat Tuesday is just around the corner, and Memphis Mae’s BBQ Bistro in Croton-on-Hudson has the perfect way to celebrate.

From 7 to 9:30 p.m. on March 3, Memphis Mae’s is partnering with Abita Brewing Co. for a Mardi Gras beer dinner. The bistro, which serves authentic Southern comfort food, is taking things a bit further for the event, with dishes like crispy fried oysters with cucumber salad and red pepper remoulade, alligator jambalaya and traditional New Orleans style beignets for dessert.

Each of the five courses comes paired with a beer from Abita, the craft brewery out of New Orleans. Purple Haze, Abita’s popular raspberry lager, will be served along fried black pepper brie and apple chutney.

Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased at Memphis Mae’s or over the phone.
