Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Spring 2014: We Hear …


A few newsy bits we heard around the Hudson Valley Restaurant Week watercooler.

Tom Costello, above, of Thyme in Yorktown Heights recently discovered he has celiac disease. As he was transitioning to gluten-free, he also added gluten-free options to the menu.

Terrace Club in Mahopac, recently renovated, has a new chef, Marc Alvarez.

Rich Parente, owner and executive chef of Clock Tower Grill in Brewster, is curing his own bacon and making his own charcuterie.

Myong Gourmet in Mount Kisco has changed its name to Global Grill@Myong Gourmet.
