Mizu Hibachi Restaurant & Lounge Opens in New City

Mizu Hibachi & Sushi Bar opened in February in New City, becoming Rockland County’s largest Hibachi restaurant. It’s hidden within the Stop & Shop and Walgreen’s shopping center, but it’s worth the find.

Four sections are seamlessly incorporated into the massive 200-seat space: a bar/lounge, a regular restaurant area, a sushi bar, and ten sleek hibachi stations, where experienced chefs entertain while cooking your meal over an open flame. Chef Jimmy Han is always whipping up new combinations for the sushi specials menu.

The space is perfect for large groups, or for showing up alone and making new friends around the hibachi table or sushi bar. Check out the Facebook page for monthly deals on drinks and food.

Mizu Hibachi Restaurant & Lounge is at 186 N. Main Street in New City;(845)-634-1590; http://www.mizuny.com/
