Firefighters extinguished a chimney fire at Purdy’s Farmer and the Fish late Wednesday night, but thankfully the popular farm-to-table restaurant will resume business as usual today.

Chef and co-owner Michael Kaphan reports no injuries or damage, thanks to a prompt response by Croton Falls firefighters. The fire was reported at 10 p.m., and there were about 20 customers and employees inside at the time. Click here to see video and read the full story on lohud.com.farmer and the fish tuna

“It was a small fire, all held within the chimney,” says Kaphan. “We are open for lunch!”
