Looking to shake up your go-to dinner spots? A restaurant tour is a fun and cost-effective way to sample the goods.

From 11:30 to 3 on Sunday, May 18, the Taste of Harrison event will provide the chance to visit more than 25 restaurants in downtown Harrison. At your own pace, visit all of the restaurants in any order you wish and enjoy a delicious sample of the chef’s specialties. Participating restaurants include Craftsman Ale House, Delfino’s, Emilio Ristorante, Halstead Avenue Bistro, Harrison Bake Shop, Uncle Henry’s and more.

Wristbands will signal who the tour participants are and all of the restaurants will have balloons outside. Look for an information table in front of the commuter parking lot on Halstead and Harrison Avenues. The Harrison Senior Transport to be available, and there will be ample parking in the commuter parking lots.

To get your wristbands, send (or drop off) your name, address, phone and number of wristbands to the the downtown library. Upon receipt of  payment, wristbands will be mailed or delivered, along with a map. Please Make checks your check payable to:

Tickets: Adults: $20 in advance or$25 day of event; children under age 12: $10 in advance or $15 day of event. The restaurant tour will benefit the Harrison Public Library.
