Fortina to Open a Second Location in Rye Brook

The owners of Fortina, the super-popular, uber-hip Italian restaurant in Armonk, are opening a second location in the Rye Ridge Shopping Center in Rye Brook.  The space was formerly Racanelli’s Pizza  & Brew.

The menu will be “all the stuff you know and love from Fortina,” says Christian Petroni, center, who is a partner with John Nealon, left, and Rob Krauss, right. “But a portion will be unique to the space.” That includes a few new cocktails, too.

The restaurant will have two huge wood-fired oven and a wood-fired grill, which they’ll use to cook vegetables. “Tons of veg,” says Petroni, who will oversee the kitchen with the help of Fortina chef Jodi Bernhard. “Veg veg veg.”

They are shooting to have the restaurant open in the fall.

The address will be 136 S. Ridge Road, Rye Brook.
