Mac n’ Cheese Eggrolls at Bailey’s Smokehouse, West Havestraw: Must-try Dish of the Week

Remember when fried mac and cheese balls turned up on every bar and barbecue menu a few years ago? Bailey’s Smokehouse in West Haverstraw took that idea and ran with it.

The Mac n’ Cheese Eggrolls at the take-out barbecue joint and butcher shop are fried and cheesy, an outrageous hand-held appetizer loaded with Bailey’s popular macaroni and cheese and chunks of smoky pulled pork. We love the down-home feel, too: grab a roll and dunk into the house ranch dip.  As you might suspect, eating all four of these eggrolls won’t leave much room left for that plate of fall-off-the-bone ribs, so we recommend finding someone willing to dive in with you.
