Bonnie Saran, owner of Little Spice Bazaar, Little Crepe Street and Little Kebab Station in Mount Kisco, is expanding her not-so-little line of restaurants.

At the end of July, look for Little Mumbai Market in the former home of Jerry’s Brick Oven Pizza in Pleasantville.

“It will be street food from Mumbai,” says Saran, who wanted to create a space welcoming to college kids and teenagers. The menu will include Bombay Frankie rolls, made with flatbread and stuffed with flavorful spiced chicken, lamb or vegetables. “Every meat will be marinated with a different salt, like smoke salt or Himalayan rock salt.”

Saran, who also hinted at another local opening slated for October, says she is taking things one step at a time.

“I wanted to merge the streets of Paris with the streets of Mumbai. This going to be a very happy place.”

Little Mumbai Market, 475 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville. Open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
