Rye House, a Manhattan gastropub that specializes in craft cocktails, is currently under renovations and scheduled to open on Main Street in Port Chester this July.
The restaurant will join Port Chester Hall, Garcia’s and McShane’s in a vibrant new restaurant and bar scene for downtown Port Chester, all a quick walk from The Capitol Theatre.
“We’re very excited about getting into the community out there,” says co-owner and Garrison resident Michael Ganetta, who plans to expand on the elevated bar food menu in New York to include more entrees. “We’re not just trying to be a bar. We want to be all things to all people— families, couples, the bar crowd.”
The massive 5,000 square-foot space is two stories, and Ganetta says the lower level will be more of a lounge, outfitted with low tables, banquet seating and an area for acoustic music sets.
Rye House in Port Chester is scheduled for a soft opening in mid-July, pending construction.
