Eric Gabrynowicz and Stephen Mancini are hosting an inspiring event to raise money for No Kid Hungry, an initiative by the Share Our Strength organization to end childhood hunger in America.
On September 18, Chef Gabrynowicz will be joined by some of his show-stopping culinary peers to prepare a five-course dining experience, paired with a gallery installation of photographer Stephen Wilke’s Day to Night collection, which displays city skylines from around the world in a way you’ve never seen them before.
Wilkes photographed each skyline from one camera angle continuously for 15 to 18 hours, then electronically blended select images together into one stunning photograph. Guests are invited to eat, drink and enjoy an up-close view of some of Wilkes’ never before seen pieces.
Tickets start at $150 (cocktails only) and are $500 per dinner and reception ticket. Can’t make it? Donations for the cause are gladly accepted, though dinner is slated to be imperative.
The kitchen roster is an impressive all-star team, made up of nationally renowned chefs whose names you’ve probably seen strewn throughout James Beard Foundation publications and Food & Wine Magazine’s “Best Chef” lists: Jonathan Sawyer and Brian Goodman of The Greenhouse Tavern and Trentina in Cleveland, Ohio; Matthew Gaudet of West Bridge in Cambridge, Mass.; Josh Lawler of The Farm & Fisherman in Philadelphia, Penn. and Steven Santoro of Local Seasonal Kitchen in Ramsey, New Jersey.
