    I love that beer is finally getting the media attention that it deserves now that people realize it is as diverse (or moreso!) than wine, goes well with all foods, and offers a taste for everyone.

    I love the local breweries, such as Broken Bow, Captain Lawrence and Peekskill, and that there are beers to match every mood and food type.

  5. What I love about beer is drinking it to help me forget my stressful life and work day. It helps me laugh and brings me closer to friends.

  7. I love that beer has become more popular and with that has come the craft beer world. There are so many different types of beer to try these days that it makes every new one an experience. I also love taking tours of the craft breweries that are open around the country.

  9. Beer has become as varied as wine. There are so many different breweries brewing different styles of beer that trying as many as possible is a challenge. However, most of the breweries are doing a very good job and make tasting the variety a pleasure.

  11. I love the community that beer gives me! Being able to get together with friends on a Saturday evening and unwind after a trying week is cathartic. I also love discovering new brews. There really can not be enough micro brews for my tastes!

    Over the past year I have grown to love beer for the whole package. From the brewing process all the way to the importance of the size and shape of the glass that it comes in to enhance the aroma of it. I enjoy going to different breweries and seeing the different type of hops, malts and additional surprise ingredients that they think to incorporate. Beer is more than just a beverage for the weekend its an art, as well as tasting really really good.

  17. I love that beer isn’t just about the side effects and that there are more and more people that appreciate craftsmanship that goes into making a really fine beer that you drink to enjoy the flavors/aroma and not merely because it contains alcohol. And I have to add another one lol…I love beers that actually taste better as they come to room temperature (like some of the Schwarzbiers, incidentally my favorite, do). Far too many times when I was younger, was the rest of a glass wasted because it was cold enough anymore.

  21. I love the relaxing feeling beer gives me after a long day. The perfect beer can make a crummy day into one that’s not so bad.

  23. I have never acquired the taste for beer.

    My husband, though, enjoys a good beer and loves to try the different blends. Something about a cold beer in hand just relaxes him.

  33. I simply love beer as it unites new and old friends alike. Sing along …

    I’d love to have a beer with Elizabeth;
    oh I’d love to have a beer with Liz;
    We drink in moderation;
    And she’s such a cooking whiz;
    We’d drink at Harbor Island Park;
    Where the atmosphere is great;
    I’d love to have a beer with Liz;
    ‘Coz … Liz is me mate!
