Walter’s Hot Dogs in Mamaroneck is a Westchester institution. Open since 1919, the Warrington family has been serving up their signature buttery, split-in-half hot dogs on toasted buns with a side of zesty curly fries and milkshakes for 95 years. And they want to celebrate with the community that’s supported them all these years.

Festivities start at 3 p.m. on October 26 with a hot dog eating contest, and will continue with face painting, games and free souvenir Walter’s cup with any drink purchase. October 27 is Customer Appreciation Day, featuring 95 cent hot dogs and more souvenirs. Festivities wind down on October 28 with a prize wheel to win some Walter’s swag. Already have a Walter’s shirt? Wear it and you’ll get a free hot dog that day.

The wait is over: Walter’s Hot Dog Stand returns

And be sure to share your Walter’s anniversary celebration photos using the official hashtag: #walters95th. The best photo will be chosen Wednesday and will win a $25 gift card. Follow Walter’s on Instagram @waltershotdogs and Facebook: Walter’s Hot Dogs.
