Beer: Ayinger Celebrator
Description: Full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. It is complex with a fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.
Tasting notes: Ayinger Celebrator from Aying Brauerei is an Doppelbock style beer, amber in color, is slightly hoppy, has an ABV of 6.7% and is available in store or at our online beer store.
Food pairing: This Doppelbock style is best paired with German foods, chocolates and game. It also goes well with buttery style cheeses such as Brie, Gouda, Havarti and Swiss or earthy style cheeses like Camembert and Fontina.
