There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to raise some money. From 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe will host its second annual police, fire and E.V.A.C. chili cook-off.

A $10 admission gets you four 12-ounce bowls of chili made by members of each department. Tickets are sold at the door and a portion of all tickets, plus $1 of every pint sale, will go to charities chosen by each department. There will be a live DJ, raffles and a full spectrum of chili recipes.
