Style: Premium Bitter – ESB

Description: A traditional Strong Pale Ale, Old Speckled Hen is brewed with Pale and Crystal malt, and is hopped with Target, East Kent Goldings. The ale owes its distinctive character and smooth, dry taste to a unique strain of yeast first used by Morland in 1896.

Tasting notes: Morland Old Speckled Hen from Greene King is an Premium Bitter – ESB style beer, medium amber in color, is moderately happy, has an ABVof 5.2% and is available in-store or at our onlineĀ beer store.

Food pairing: This ESB style beer is best paired with tangy style cheeses such as Brick, Edam and Feta.
