Ready for Holiday Cookies? Come to our Cookie Swap and Win Fabulous Prizes! (Including a Stand Mixer!)

Yes, we know it isn’t even Thanksgiving. But we’re looking ahead to the holidays. In particular, the holiday cookies.

It’s time for the annual Journal News Cookie Swap, held this year at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at a new location: Chef Central in Greenburgh.

This year’s event will feature Small Bites blogger Josephine D’Ippolito, who writes the Suburban Sweets column and has been throwing a Cookie Swap party of her own for the past decade.

She will teach everyone how to host a cookie swap, with tips on everything from the guest list to the decorating sprinkles. Learn cookie swap rules, get cookie swap recipes and learn how to put a cookie swap booklet together. You’ll go home with recipes for 15 of Josephine’s favorite cookies, too!

Food writer Megan McCaffrey will host the event.

Come down, meet our experts, share in some cookies and enter to win more than $700 worth of prizes. We’re giving away a Kitchen Aid Mixer, cookware, a waffle maker — and a basket of must-have bakeware selected by Josephine herself!

Watch here for recipes over the next week and more on the event — including a photo gallery of prizes. See you at Chef Central!
