Yonkers Fire Department to host Hogs for Hope, April 26

hogs for hopeMotorcycles, pin up girls and pig roasts. Hogs for Hope is not your average fundraiser.

At 11 a.m. on April 26, a police escort will lead hundreds of motorcyclists on a ride from George’s Island Park in Montrose all the way to Yonkers to support the Ronald McDonald House. The ride ends at noon at JFK Marina, where riders and supporters will gather for a pig roast, homemade smoked ribs and brisket, a pin up girl contest, live music, raffle prizes and local craft beer from Yonkers Brewing.

Hogs for Hope, now in its seventh year, is hosted by the Yonkers Fire Department and the Ronald McDonald House of New York. The participation fee is $25 for riders, $20 for passengers. Sign up begins at 9 a.m. in Montrose on April 26.
