As the weather has officially switched to summer-mode, we’re looking for fun ways to spend an afternoon outside. Not exactly the outdoorsy type? The Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival, hosted by Growler and Gill Craft Beer Shoppe in Nanuet, might be just the ticket.
The outdoor festival promises a roster of more than 50 breweries, a mix of local favorites (Defiant, Captain Lawrence, Broken Bow, Yonkers) and popular domestics (Lagunitas, Oskar Blues, Founders, Ommegang). Each attendee will receive a souvenir tasting gill and have the opportunity to taste samples throughout the afternoon, and enjoy live music all day by Joe D’Urso and Josh Casano. Barbecue is available for purchase from Bailey’s Smokehouse.
The Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival will take place in the outdoor area of Growler & Gill Craft Beer Shoppe, 148 E. Rt. 59, Nanuet, NY (Located between Kohl’s and Toys R’ Us). Tickets start at $50 each, and designated driver tickets are also available.
