Owner Michael Kaphan says the new restaurant, part of Tarrytown’s waterfront Hudson Harbor development, will have a similar menu and clam-shack style that’s proven successful in North Salem.¬†Kaphan says he will likely keep the same name for the new waterfront restaurant, and hopes to open in July.

  1. Foodie who knows better on

Farmer and the Fish clearly has potential but the place in Purdy’s is not great for the few times I have been there.
In Purdy’s its located in a George Washington Slept here residence which is so noisy you have to go outside mid meal for a dose of sanity. The service is spotty the food is fair for what they are charging.
Some how I hope they do a better job in Tarrytown on all fronts.

Purdy”s Farmer & the Fish is Great place to dine. Every time I go with family or friends we have an outstanding meal. Service is great & I love the cocktail’s as well. I’m sure they will do well @ their new spot in Tarrytown.

  3. Well, will it be in Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow? For those who don’t know, these are two separate and distinct villages.
