Lilly’s in White Plains brings small plates to Mamaroneck Ave.

lilly's white plainsA new restaurant has popped up on Mamaroneck Ave., and it’s not a typical sports bar.

Lilly’s in White Plains, in the former Porter House location, offers an Italian-American menu, favoring shareable small plates like oysters with prosecco citrus mignonette, ricotta croquettes and marinated olives.

There’s a long bar that runs the length of the deep restaurant and there are two big flat-screens hanging behind it. Though most of the small plates menu is still evolving, cocktails are an obvious specialty. We like the Gershwin, a sweet concoction of vodka, hibiscus-mint cordial, peach, rosewater and bubbly prosecco.

Lilly’s in White Plains is open for lunch and dinner, and is closed (for now) on Sundays. Be sure to visit during happy hour, when food and drink specials are particularly tempting.

Have u tried the Gershwin yet? #lillyswp #deliciouscreations #crafycocktails
